The Fender American Standard series from the 1990's is one of the best eras of Fender guitars. The build quality is top notch, the stock pickups are outstanding (and highly sought-after today), and the bridges had narrow string spacing. This allows the strings to line up with the pickup poles better and moves the E strings slightly inward from the fretboard edges so you're less likely to bend the string off the fretboard. Aqua Marine Metallic is a fairly rare color for this year of Strat and is often mistakenly called Ocean Turquoise.
Here’s what Fender says about the Delta Tone circuit: The Delta Tone wiring features a no-load tone control for the middle and bridge pickups, great for producing just a bit more midrange and hotter output from the Stratocaster. The no-load tone pot works like a standard tone knob from positions 1-9, but at 10, it is removed from the wiring completely so that you get the full sonic output of your pickup.
This guitar has been played over it's 26-year life and it shows on the body and neck. There are minor dings and scratches, plus an impression into the wood on the lower side of the body near the input jack. None of these affect the tone or playability of the guitar. On that topic, the pickups and electronics are original and function perfectly. We leveled, crowned, and polished the frets so this guitar is an absolute dream to play!
